 Actually there are two things that affect the aging process on the skin. The first is genetic. While the second is external or extrinsic factors such as sun exposure, smoking, eating patterns and poor sleep patterns, stress, and other lifestyle factors.

 No need to worry, even though this aging process runs naturally and cannot be stopped, skin health experts (dermatologists) provide some tips that you can apply to slow down the skin's aging process. Healthy and youthful skin is not impossible anymore, even if you don't have plastic surgery or expensive treatments at the clinic.

 1. Protect the skin from the sun every day

 Wherever you go on your activities, make sure you always wear a sunscreen or sunscreen that has a minimum sun protection factor (SPF) of SPF 15. Use mainly on the face and hands because it is the most vulnerable to sunlight.

 2. Stop smoking

 No need to ask again, smoking is not good for the skin. Smoking accelerates the aging process of the skin, wrinkles and dull skin faster. This is because the toxic ingredients of cigarettes act as free radicals that will damage your skin cells. Therefore, to have healthy and youthful skin, you should stop smoking.

 3. Avoid repeated facial expressions

 When you make facial expressions such as frowning, squinting, or frowning, the muscles under the skin contract. If you frequently do these muscle contractions repeatedly and continuously for years, permanent lines will form on your face.

 5. Limit alcohol consumption and multiply water

 It's important to consume lots of water so that your skin stays moisturized and soft. While alcohol actually makes the skin dry and rough, making the face look older.

 6. Regular exercise

 At least 30 minutes every day, do moderate exercise to improve blood circulation and boost the immune system. This can make your skin healthy, natural, and youthful.

 7. Gently cleanse facial skin

 Do not wash your face too often, especially with scrubs granules because it can make the skin become irritated and dry. Skin irritation can accelerate the process of skin aging. Just use regular soap every day. If you really want to do scrubbing, limit it to most often once a week.
